Vidi went down to a single goal defeat in their final friendly match of their Spanish pre-season camp
Manager José Gomes watched his side put up a battling performance in their final friendly game before the squad returns to Hungary. Gomes shared his thoughts following the final whistle:-
"I am naturally not pleased because of the result, but I am very happy with the way we played. Dnipro are a very good side, and they proved this by beating Dynamo Moscow 3-1 recently. We created several chances, with Nikolics, Haraszti, Paraiba and even Torghelle going close with efforts. The players carried out everything that we have practiced over recent days. We were also good in the way we defended, but I am most happy about the fact that we had 3-4 players in front of the opponents goal everytime we went forward, taking into consideration just how strong they are. That was the most important target in today's match." - said a satisfied Videoton manager, José Gomes.
