The two sides drew 1-1 in the autumn fixture at the MOL Arena Sosto.
Sunday evening sees us make the visit to league leaders Ferencvaros in a game that will kick off at 18:30pm. FTC have won 14 of their 19 league games this season, drawing 4 and losing just once. That came on the 20th January 2021 at home to DVTK, when they lost 1-0. They had remained unbeaten at home before that game in 61 NB I matches.
The Budapest club not only performed well during the autumn in the league, but also made it to the Champions League Group Stage. They were grouped together with Juventus, Barcelona and Dinamo Kiev. Three players have departed their club during the winter transfer window: Abraham Frimpong, Roland Varga and Andras Csonka. Arrivals have been Daniel Gera, Mate Katona, Henry Wingo and Samy Mmaee.
Ferencvaros did not make the best start to the spring season, having lost at home to DVTK, but they did win 3-0 away at Budafok, although Kisvarda and Puskas Academy did manage to take a point each off them. They most recently won 4-0 away at Ujpest FC on Wednesday evening in the big Budapest derby game.
FTC have scored the second most goals (40) in the league, behind us, but have conceded the least with just 10 goals ending up in their own net. Current top goalscorer is Tokmac is has scored 7 times in the NB I.
