Videoton produced a great performance to move 9 points clear
Gyorgy Mezey was a delighted manager as his Vidi side cruised to a 5-0 away win, on Saturday evening. A crowd of over 10,000 filled the Albert stadium, with the Fehervar fans turning out in good numbers to sing their favourite side to victory.

It was build as the game of the season, with league leaders Videoton making the journey to Budapest, to face second in the table, Ferencvaros. Vidi were backed in good numbers as the red and blue fans filled their enclosure, and never stopped singing. Gyorgy Mezey's side went into the game with a six points lead, which they have now extended to nine, following this five goal win. Added to that is the fact that Vidi enjoy a superior goal difference over the chasing pack, which is worth another point, and there is every reason to feel that this may just be the season when Videoton finally win their first league title.
