PRESS CONFERENCE

"I'm very happy with the three points"

Tamás Pető and Krisztián Tímár reviewed the match, which ended in a 2-1 victory for Videoton on Monday evening.

Tamás Pető:

"We started the match a little nervously, and Kecskemét played a little better than us at the beginning. Then we showed our strength, proving that we can come back from behind and turn the match around. From that point on, I think it was clear that we were the better team; I can say that we were better throughout the match. I thought it would be a more difficult match. I'm very happy with the three points; three wins in a row mean a lot to the team and the club. This will be even more valuable if we can win again next week. Overall, I think we were the better team today, congratulations to my players!"

Krisztián Tímár:

"We started the match well and took the lead. We dominated the game in the middle of the first half and everything went according to plan, but towards the end of the half we let our opponents back into the game and, following a set piece, a moment of carelessness and confusion allowed Vidi to equalize. After that, we tried to get our act together at halftime. I don't think we started the second half badly, but again, a moment of lapse of concentration after a set piece led to a goal. It's completely incomprehensible to me how we can be so inattentive in these situations. I think that one or two players became uncertain after the second goal, gave up, and even at 1-1, I felt that we were playing to avoid defeat rather than to win the game. I am dissatisfied with the individual performances of many players. It was a draw, but we lost because of our lack of attention and the weaker performance of one or two players. The biggest disappointment for me is that I haven't felt that passion, that belief, that desire to win at all costs in the last two or three games, and we definitely need to work on that. At the moment, I feel that not everyone is giving their all in terms of quality, passion, and determination, and we definitely need to change that."
