The two managers gave their reactions shortly after the final whistle.
Joan Carrillo:
"It was very important for us to be successful because of the dressing room and for our supporters. I feel that we deserved the win and the players gave their all for the win. I am always pleased when I see this from my players. The atmosphere inside the stadium was great and it reminded me of earlier years when I worked here. We have stepped in a good direction with the game today and we want to continue it. We beat a good side today with Mezokovesd having strong and technical players. I believe that it is good for the supporters and Hungarian football if games are as intensive in the league and both teams fought each other."
Kuttor Attila:
"I felt that looking at the game overall that we deserved a point. We scored two goals but unfortunately they did not award one of them. I have rarely seen what I saw today in the incident leading up to the goal and for a free kick to be awarded instead. This helped us to suffer a defeat but I felt overall that we showed good football today. We managed to impose our will on Fehervar in the second half. We tried everything to pick up at least a point. The players are disappointed at times like this but I feel that it was a good performance. We will try and draw strength from this match."
