The two managers gave their thoughts following Saturday's game at the MOL Arena Sosto.
Marko Nikolic:
"I want to start this press conference as I have previously, with the exception that we are now on 11 wins and 1 draw during this run. I congratulate the players for their performance and it was a good game against Ujpest. Returning back to this winning run, we must not forget that the last five games are what you would describe as derby games. We also have a cup match against Debrecen to come on Tuesday. Then we are away in the league at Ferencvaros on Saturday. We could have settled the game right at the beginning but we missed those chances. Ujpest also had chances but I felt that we were a goal better than them overall. I also believe that we deserved these three points. We have played many more games this season than the majority of the other teams. We still have seven games, but I hope that it will be 8 and the players continue to show that they are true fighters. We gave all we had tonight and I am very proud of them. I want to thank the supporters who came out in bigger numbers. This means a lot to the team. I hope than many will come out on Tuesday against DVSC."
Nebojsa Vignjevics:
"The game went the way I had counted it on going, but not with this result. I told the players before the game to learn the way that Vidi win games. We needed to concentrate for 90 minutes, but we did not manage this. The worst thing is that there are some among us who felt that we played well as we created chances. Every side creates chances in Szekesfehervar and most of them end up losing. Vidi allow you to play but take advantage of any lapse of concentration. We concentrated on the game and not the result. I am not that disappointed but a team that wants to be second cannot play like this. We were not worse but we need to learn from Vidi. Nice football is not enough to win games one after the other. I did not think that I made too many changes... perhaps I did not make enough. We did not have pace up front and we were missing Obinna and Simon in the wings through injury. I put Onovo in to cause trouble for Juhasz and Vinicius. We are still in a good position and have a two points lead over fourth placed DVSC. I hope that we will win our next game."
