The two managers shared their thoughts after the final whistle.
Marko Nikolic:
"I would like to congratulate Haladas for the new stadium. There was a real football atmosphere inside the stadium. I would also like to naturally congratulate them for the win. The first half of the season did not go too badly. We had good results in Europe and also led the league for a long time. The last few games have not gone the way we would have wanted. The concentration and energy ran out. We had chances and twice hit the post and also had a penalty. However, we did not have too much fortune. We then got punished in the last minute with a counter attack. Of course luck does not come from itself and you have to earn it. There has been enough time since I have been here to get to know the club better. I know the championship more and also know what we have to do looking ahead. I will discuss things within the club as to the details of how we can get better. There have been positives over the last few months. We went further in Europe than last year and also have more points than at the end of 2016. However, this is not enough for me. I would like to thank the supporters who travelled over to back us."
Michal Hipp:
„We prepared for the game with Vidi with plenty of humility. I will admit that they perhaps had more of the ball, but we created the bigger chances. We did not win because of luck, but because we performed well. The players played with plenty of heart and the team rose to the occasion. They kept to the tactics and we deserved the 3 points. Grumics for example has not had the chance so far, but we had plenty of the ball today. I felt that the substitutes did well when they came on, while I would pick out Meszaros from the starting eleven. I am pleased that we scored the winning goal right at the end. He did well to beat the defenders who were a little tired. I talked to the players a month ago about how I would like us to play. We had to make changes. We discussed that we would move forward together. I wanted to help the players and they accepted by helping hand. We have gone forward day-by-day. The two sides started actively. Our opponents hit the post twice, but after that we managed to switch well from defence to attack. Myke suffered an injury and we missed the penalty. Our game was fine and sometimes you miss spot kicks. The second half was hectic. Everyone went for the win. Vidi had a penalty but we researched at where Lazovic normally places them and Kiraly saved it. That gave the team lots of strength."
