The views of both managers

Videoton's Gyorgy Mezey and Debrecen's Andras Herczeg spoke after the league match between the two

Gyorgy Mezey: "It was a big battling, hard match, with Debrecen showing tremendous energy to get the equaliser. Some of the players made positional and technical errors, which led to the home side beginning moves and giving them goal scoring chances.  This match was a warning, that we are not such a massive side, and that we can't win each game under pressure. We need to win of course, and fight to create chances, but we need to remain in the real world. Today's result was a little harsh, as there wasn't such a difference between the two sides. There was a controversial penalty that did not go our way, and we also scored an own goal. Our 5-4-1 formation was an interesting line up, which worked well in parts, but we made some positional errors. We will not be continuing with this formation, as Gabor Horvath looks certain to be leaving the football club, which will see us use two central defenders. However, I am not sure that this is the right road ahead, as we may conceded two or three goals.. we will see."

Andras Herczeg: "It was a big game, and a real match. There was a massive tactical battle in the first half, which saw us start the game with  a 4-3-3 formation, but we changed this to 4-4-2. Yannick played well alongside Coulibaly, as well as behind him. The second half was more about the good atmosphere, and good pace of the game, which saw us come out with a win, and we beat serious opponents."
