Vidi sign two more home-grown talents on professional contracts

This week, we signed two young talents, Tamas Horváth and Tamas Fodor-Papp, who came through our club's youth system.

Tamás Horváth, born on 8th July 2007, has been a registered player of our club since the summer of 2013. The youngster, who mainly plays as a defender, has been training regularly with our first team this season, he also travelled with our first team during the winter training camp in Croatia and played in a pre-season match. So far in the 2024/2025 season, he has featured in a single NB I and one MOL Hungarian Cup match, and he is also a regular captain of our U19 team, where he has played in ten league matches and two cup matches.

Born on 13th February 2007, Tamás Fodor-Papp also started playing football for Vidi in 2013, at the age of six. The young goalkeeper made his senior debut for our NB III team in the 2023/2024 season, and also featured in four NB I and one cup match for our first team. He trained several times with our NB I team last season and this season, and has kept goal for Vidi in eight league and one cup match with our U19 team this season.
