"We must continue on the same path"

- Congratulations on the win and your goal! How did it feel to score again in the first division after such a long break?

Thank you very much! It was very important for me to score again, but the most important thing was the success of the team. We got an extremely important win against Kecskemét. The result is misleading, it was not an easy encounter. Kecskemét gave us very little space, which is why we didn't create many scoring chances in the first 45 minutes. But after our second goal we took control and then we managed to create chances and dominated the game. It is important that we continue on the same path.

-We had a long interview with you before the game in which you stressed that you never give up. This statement also applies to your goal today.

It's true, I really worked hard for that goal (laughs). I had a good shot before I scored, but it missed the goal. Two minutes later I got a good ball from Stefanelli, I tried to shoot to the far corner, but my shot got caught in the hands of a Kecskemét player, I think if the ball hadn't bounced in front of me and I couldn't score, we would have had a penalty, but in hindsight it doesn't matter, because I kept running and I managed to send the ball that bounced in front of me past the goalkeeper with my left foot. It was a great feeling to score again after such a long break.

- You've had a great week, winning two league games and a cup match. Next week you travel to Miskolc, the team are full of confidence, what kind of match do you expect against DVTK?

I think we already played well against FTC, but we didn't get a result then, but since then we have managed to perform consistently as we and our fans expect. We have another important match in Diósgyőr, and I am confident that we will play as well as we have done in the past. Even though we are a young team and many new players have joined us in the summer, Vidi is made up of talented and motivated footballers. In the league, we want to compete in the top half, not in the bottom part, so we must not deviate from the path we have begun. We have the qualities and confidence to take the 3 points from Miskolc, but it will not be an easy task for us, as we saw in Wednesday's cup game how good a team DVTK are, who won in Paks in the last round.
