In drizzling rain and in front of around 2000 supporters, the OTP league division one match between Kaposvar and Videoton kicked off. There was a league debut for Zsolt Tar, who partnered Caneira at the heart of the defence in weekend 13 of the league season. The first half saw plenty of action as the home side attacked down the left, with a real battle emerging between Szolnoki and Bole. Nildo and Zé Luis tried to cause danger, but sadly without any success. There were two important events in the 24th and 25th minutes. The first saw Coroian hit a volley onto the crossbar from around 28 meters out, while Nikolics went down in the box amid suspicious events. However, the match official waved away the appeal as the game continued. Nikolics did try later with a header, following a good cross by Szolnoki, but Posza in the home goal was well positioned. The first half came to an end with a corner kick from Lukacs Bole.

Vidi started the second half at a fast pace, with Nikolics having a quick chance early on, but the assistant referee raised his flag for offside. Sandor had a powerful shot in the 55th minute from 23 meters out, which was not that far from finding the target. There was confusion in front of the Vidi goal, which almost caused problems for the red and blues, but the home player eventually blasted his shot over the bar. Posza was on hand to cope with another Vidi chance following a good one-two between Kovacs and Sandor. Bole then headed towards goal a few minutes later, down the left side, before going down besides Szolnoki, which resulted in referee Adam Nemeth awarding a penalty kick. Vidi's right back was even shown a yellow card! Waltner converted the resulting spot kick to put the home side 1-0 up.

The home side were put under pressure in the final quarter of the game, but Vidi could not create any real chances to draw level in the match. That meant that Kaposvar emerged 1-0 winners. Vidi remain at the top of the league table following Diosgyőr's defeat at home to Ferencvaros.
