We led in the first half with Gradisar's goal and in the second half through Bálint Szabó's goal, but both times the home team managed to respond, and in the 96th minute MTK Budapest scored the winning goal from a penalty.
Our team played their last match of the season at MTK. While this was the last league game for the two teams this year, it was the final game for the referee, Sándor Andó-Szabó, who is retiring from active refereeing in the NB I after 18 years of refereeing in the top flight. Many Vidi fans accompanied the team to the New Hidegkuti Nándor Stadium.

We started the game perfectly, when we took the lead in the 2nd minute. Simut raced down the right, broke inside the box and cleverly passed to Gradisar, whose shot bounced off Beriashvili and Csenteric had no chance (0-1).
MTK were not downed by the quickly scored goal, in the 7th minute Viktor Hej's shot was confidently saved by Gergely Nagy. In the 19th minute, after a clearance, Gradisar raced towards goal and passed to Csongvai, whose 22-metre shot was saved by the MTK goalkeeper. In the 27th minute, MTK equalised somewhat unexpectedly: after a corner, the ball bounced back and forth to Végh , whose 11-metre shot found its way into the net (1-1).
A few minutes later, Stieber's low shot was saved by Nagy. In the 36th minute, Gradisar won a free kick, Kalmár curled dangerously towards goal, the ball rattled off the top bar. At the other end, Nagy had to save Jurina's shot, but it was no problem for our goalkeeper, and the first half ended in a 1-1 score.
In the 54th minute, Stefanelli tried to score from almost "zero angle", but Csenterics was alert and saved the clever attempt. In the same minute, Stieber shot wide from 17 metres. Ten minutes later, Molnár shot just over the goal after a nice move. In the 68th minute we took the lead again, Bálint Szabó , who came on as a substitute at the break, shot from 22 metres out from the bottom right corner (1-2). In the 77th minute, Simut's perfect cross was met by Gradisar and he headed down towards the goal with the defender on his heels, Csenteric floated the ball in the air and pushed it sideways. At the other end, Horváth's 17-metre free-kick narrowly missed the target. In the 81st minute, Kosznovszky came close to equalising after a clearance, but he fired just over. Five minutes later the Budapest side equalised, Gergely Nagy could only get a hand to Polievka's shot, the rebound was put into the net by Jurina (2-2). In the last four minutes of extra time, Polievka was brought down inside the box by Gergely Nagy, the penalty was calmly placed by Molnár in the bottom right corner, our goalkeeper dived the other way (3-2). In the last match of the year, we took the lead twice, but we were left without a point at the home of MTK.
