Our goalkeeper has been training in pre-season ahead of the new campaign.
Our club has extended its contract with Botond Kemenes! Born on the 11th November 2001, the goalkeeper played football in Germany during his youth, represented Hungary's youth national teams, and then arrived in Fehérvár in January 2025.
He did not play in any competitive matches for our team in the spring of 2025, making his debut on August 31, 2025, in the league match away at Karcag. Although he made several good saves, he suffered an unfortunate injury during that game, which resulted in surgery and meant he was unavailable for the rest of the autumn season. However, he had fully recovered by the start of winter training.
"I was very happy when the club indicated that they wanted to extend my contract. I didn't think twice, as this was my goal as well. It was important to me that I felt the club's trust throughout my long absence, and I received a lot of support from my teammates, the staff, and the fans. Now that I'm back to 100%, my goal is to get back to the team, and of course, the contract extension is also motivating me. I would like to thank everyone who helped me during my rehabilitation; I was able to work in professional conditions throughout. I was really looking forward to training, I enjoy working with my teammates, and I'm working hard to get back in shape," said Botond Kemenes to our website. We would like to take this opportunity to congratulate him on his contract extension!
