Our captain, who celebrated his birthday, gave his reaction shortly after the 2-2 draw.
"In the first half you couldn't even recognise our team, it was absolutely not what we had agreed on the pitch before the start, that we wanted to play. It's a very tight league, we can't afford that. At the break, we agreed that we had to play much more actively, in a much more attacking spirit. We started the second half with this attitude and we could have equalised within two minutes. I really liked the attitude of the team in the second half. It was important for us that our fans accompanied us and cheered us on throughout the game, without them we would have had a much harder time. I have a feeling that we missed out. Our glass is half empty. I'm a maximalist, I always want to win, but it makes a difference whether you come back to draw from 2-0 down or allow a 2-0 lead to slip. We have to correct our mistakes in the first half. If we can play the whole game like we did in the second half today, we will have no problems for the rest of the season," said our captain.
