The home team took a two-goal lead at half-time with goals from Bálint Katona and Donát Zsótér. In the second half, our team attacked all the way, Saponjics scored a great goal and then levelled from a penalty.
Nikola Serafimov, who served his ban in Debrecen, and Simut Mario came into the match squad, as did the returning Alexandre Kalandadze. However, the trio of Gergő Ominger, Lirim Kastrati and Patrik Kovács were still absent due to injury.
Head coach Tamás Pető named Dala - Serafimov, Petrov, Spandler - Huszti, Melnyik, Kalmár, Milicevic - Katona, Szabó B. - Saponjics in the starting eleven.

Kecskemét had the ball at their feet after the start, and in the 5th minute - from their first shot on goal - the home team took the lead: a left-wing cross from Driton Camaj fell to Bálint Katona, who shot into the bottom right corner (1-0).
In the 13th minute, Donát Zsótér was played into a good position for the home side as he stormed towards the goal, Serafimov caught up and tackled before he could cause any serious danger. Again Zsótér was the main protagonist, he went for a hopeless looking ball, won it but fortunately for us there was no player for him to pass to. Our team played with many mistakes, our attacks lacked penetration.
The purple shirted home side were more agile in the continuation: in the 28th minute Katona Levente crossed to Katona Mátyás, the ball ended up with Camaj, who converted it into the net. Referee Gergő Bogár first awarded a goal, then after a VAR review he cancelled the goal and the match continued with a Vidi free kick. Filip Holender came on for the injured András Huszti in the 40th minute.
Just before the break, the game got lively; first Kalmár was cleared by the defenders at the last moment, then Kecskemét countered, and at the end of the action Zsótér shot into the goal from 22 meters, Dala could only just connect with the ball that bounced over him having taken a deflection on the way (2-0).
At half-time, head coach Tamás Pető made two changes, replacing Petrov and Kalmar with Milan Pető and Stefanelli. The second half started with some Vidi chances. Szabó Bálint's shot was blocked - KTE were comfortable with a two-goal lead, while our team went looking to try to get back into the game.
In the 60th minute, Saponjics rolled the ball onto the left post, the rebound was shot into the net by Milán Pető, but he was already offside. In the 65th minute, there was no reprieve; Milicevic's big throw-in was flicked on the goal line by Saponjics with his right back to goal and the ball went in off the crossbar and found the back of the net (2-1). We had a chance to equalise and even turn the game around as we fought for each ball. However, Bálint Szabó stepped on his opponent's foot and referee Bogár gave him a second yellow card, which saw Vidi down to 10 men.
We did not give up with ten on the pitch! In the 79th minute, Stefanelli was sent tumbling down inside the box in suspicious circumstances. A VAR review followed and the referee awarded a penalty, while Botka was sent off for a second yellow card. The penalty was confidently slotted into the net by Saponjic (2-2). In extra time, Pászka missed from 12 metres out in a clear chance for the home side, and we were let off from suffering a cruel defeat! After two contrasting halves, we deserved the point in Kecskemét.
