PRESS CONFERENCE

"My half time talk and the change of structure produced results"

Tamás Pető and Zoltán Gera shared their thoughts on the match, which ended in a 2-2 draw after the final whistle.

Tamás Pető:

"The first half was terrible, Kecskemét came through us as they wanted. Our midfield was non-existent, the players were running all over the place. None of what we discussed and practiced in training worked. My half time talk and the change of structure produced results, the substitutes got into the game brilliantly. Saponjic had two chances early in the second half and we had a lot of chances after that. In the second half of the game, we were better than Kecskemét.. This is the team I want to see on the pitch in the future. We got what we came for, we managed to keep our opponent away from us."

Zoltán Gera:

"We played well in the first half. We defended with discipline throughout, created many chances, while Vidi had no chances. After 2-0 we could have closed the game with a third goal, but we couldn't. The second half didn't go as planned, we really pushed our opponent, who had two chances right away, after which we should have woken up. At 2-1 we had a man advantage, we should have been more agile, and at 2-2 we had a big chance in the last minute. We only have ourselves to blame for not winning the game."
