After the start, DVSC took control immediately, while our team started with a solid and closed defence. In the 8th minute, with the ball mainly in the middle of the pitch, Malinov made a huge mistake, and Vidi striker Saponjic pounced on the ball, beat the goalkeeper and calmly slotted the ball into the goal past a desperate Debrecen challenge (0-1).

In the 19th minute, Dala could not collect and Maurides tried to level but our goalkeeper made a smart save. In the rest of the game, the home side continued to dominate, but our defence held firm. In the 24th minute, Dzsudzsák's long-range shot was confidently saved by Dala, and Maurides' header was no problem for our goalkeeper.

In the 44th minute the home side got behind our defence, Sukhodovsky mis-hit the ball in a great position and it fell to Dala.

At the break Bedi was replaced by Stefanelli. The second half started in a better rhythm, the match became more enjoyable. Especially in the 53rd minute, when Stefanelli sent a pass to Bálint Szabó, who broke inside the penalty area and then delivered a perfect ball to the onrushing Katona, who smashed it under the bar from close range (0-2).

The two-goal lead was not to be enjoyed for long, in the 59th minute Holender also gave home a short pass, Dominguez pounced on the ball, slotted past Dala and scored (1-2).

The dangerous Maurides header went over the top, then Milan Pető, who replaced Katona, was given a gift ball but was fouled and the chance was missed. Bárány's header was saved by Dala - in what was a much more eventful second half. Until the final whistle, the teams pestered each other without scoring, then in the 81st minute Dala came out of his goal with determination, colliding with a home player as he got the ball, but no foul was committed.

In the 86th minute, Dzsudzsák's cross was headed on by Maurides and Dala made a brave save to keep out the ball into the right corner. There was one more Dzsudzsák free-kick left at the end, and goalkeeper Hegyi came forward, but the result remained the same. Our team fought hard to win a very important three points.
