We started energetically and in the 5th minute Nicolas Stefanelli's 21-metre shot hit the left post. We continued to dominate the match, with Filip Holender, this time playing right-back, entering the penalty area, but he was caught out by the defenders and eventually won the battle. In the 17th minute, Bálint Szabó's free-kick was deflected towards goal by Ervin Németh, and Nejc Gradisar headed wide of the empty goal. Gergely Mim's shot was the signal for ZTE to move up, but Gergely Nagy saved the effort.
In the 27th minute, another chance followed for Vidi: Gradisar was held back in vain, and from 17 metres out he lifted the ball over the stranded keeper, but unfortunately the ball went over. In the second part of the half, the teams fought mainly in the middle of the pitch, and Mihály Káprály gave out several yellow cards. No goal was scored in the first 45 minutes, the players went into the break with a 0-0 score.. None of the coaches made a change at the break. The second half started with a one-on-one: Bálint Szabó took a great ball inside the penalty area, turned on goal, his shot was saved by Németh, while at the other end Sinan Medgyes' long-range shot was saved by Nagy. In the 60th minute Stefanelli was replaced by Mátyás Kovács, who found himself in a shooting position after a well-played individual action and cross from Szabó, his ball from the block was cleared for a corner. In the 71st minute we took the lead: a cross was played to Holender, who crossed the ball and Bohdan Melnyik from the other side scored from 5 meters (0-1). In the 75th minute Yohan Croizet and Mátyás Kovács' feet met inside the penalty area, the referee awarded a penalty and then reviewed the incident, so the original decision stood. Croizet's penalty was quickly saved by Nagy and then saved for a corner by our defenders. The rest of the time ZTE tried everything, while our team defended with self-confidence. In the last moments Balázs Bakti could have equalized, his shot went over the top. The last seconds ticked away, the result remained unchanged. The team fought for their first away win of the season, which brings us back to seventh place in the table.
