José travels home to surprise his 100 year old grandfather

José Gomes' grandfather celebrated his 100th birthday on Friday. Vidi's manager travelled home to Portugal for two days so that he could join in with the family celebrations. José kept the trip a secret, which made it a real surprise when he suddenly turned up. It brought a smile and happiness to the face of his grandad.

"I am delighted that I managed to be there to celebrate the 100th birthday of my grandad, as it was a unique event. Fortunately he is in good health and I hope that we can spend many more birthdays together. " - said a very proud grandson, José Gomes.
