The score was level at 1-1 at half time but Vidi ran out comfortable winners in the end.
Vidi were again in pre-season action on Wednesday morning. The opponents were Balaton side Siofok. All three Vidi loanees (Peter Gabor, Bence Bognar and Denes Baksa), were all in the Siofok starting eleven, who were managed by Goran Kopunovic.
The first 15 minutes did not produce any notable moment of action. Vidi then broke the deadlock when Kovacs showed good movement, before picking out Feczesin with a good cross, and the forward made no mistake with his header to put Vidi 1-0 up. The visitors managed to level fairly quickly with a goal from a former Vidi player. A free kick eventually found its way to Bence Elek, who aimed for the bottom left corner to make it 1-1.
A Haraszti corner five minutes later was volleyed nicely at goal by Geresi, from inside the box, but Vidi loan keeper Peter Gabor saved well. Haraszti then curled a dangerous free kick on 32 minutes, which found Stopira at the far post, and the left back's header was again well dealt with by Gabor.
Videoton made two changes at half time, with Vinicius replacing Lang, and Tischler coming on for Feczesin. Vidi again went in to the lead after 50 minutes. Stopira went down the left and crossed in to the middle, where Geresi was waiting to volley the ball home (2-1). It was a lovely goal from the youngster who showed good composure. Vidi continued to place lots of pressure on their opponents. Heffler put a cross in after 66 minutes, which Tischler reacted quickest to, and he headed home from close range (3-1). That was Tischler's first goal in a Vidi shirt since his recent move. Tischler was involved in the fourth goal when he slid in to meet a cross, but Gabor denied him with a save, before the forward played the ball back in to the path of Heffler, who powerfully scored from 8 meters out (4-1). The score became 5-1 in the final minute, after Kovacs found Tischler with a good ball, and the forward made no mistake to place the ball beyond Gabor from close range. (5-1).
