The match started with ball mainly in the middle of the pitch, with both teams trying to play safe defensively. In the 10th minute, Acolatse crossed from the right midfield and his shot went over. At the other end, Stefanelli almost copied his opponent's action, but he was not accurate either. In the 18th minute, Bedi fired in a rebound, his shot into the middle was saved by Odyntsov.
DVTK played with the advantage having more of the ball as the game continued, but they did not create any chances. Towards the end of the first half they won corners, which were cleared away by our defenders or Dala came out of his goal and punched away the danger from the box.
In the 41st minute, Milan Pető had a free kick from the centre from 25 metres out, his powerful shot was saved by the visiting goalkeeper.
At half-time, neither head coach made any changes. Bedi tried his luck for the third time, his ball flying over the top. The teams were cautious in the continuation, the goals were not in danger. Then in the 54th minute Stefanelli disappeared in suspicious circumstances in the penalty area, the referee examined the incident with the help of VAR and decided that no penalty was awarded.
In the 67th minute, Valdas Dambrauskas made a double substitution to freshen up his side. There was some good action from Fehérvár, Stefanelli took the short corner from an acute angle and Odyntsov was on hand to deny him. Tamás Pető also made a change, Bedi was replaced by Katona. In the 71st minute, another free kick from a promising position saw Simut curl the ball into the side netting. Mátyás Kovács was also given a chance, replacing Milan Pető.
In the second half, DVTK kept up the pressure until substitute Bényeit was sent off with two yellow cards by referee Karakó. The last minutes saw Vidi press forward with a man advantage, with Milicevic's crosses coming in. The match ended in a good atmosphere without a goal, but a point for both sides.
